Speaker & event schedule released for E-Conference
Economic opportunity through learning and discussion of energy efficient and environmentally sound practices is on center stage at the upcoming E-Conference in Neosho, MO September 25-26, 2009. The schedule of speakers and events that comprise this crucial forum is now online.
In addition to its sponsorship of the E-Conference, the WIB is enriching the forum with a presentation on Green Jobs as part of the practitionercategory of breakout sessions on Friday. Jasen Jones, Executive Director for the WIB, will dig deep into the WIB’s Green Jobs Opportunity Analysis for the greater Four-States region. This body of research highlights and current and projected growth opportunities in six different occupational clusters of green jobs. The session provides a glimpse into workforce/economic development strategies to maximize green job creation and impact for the region.
