Leslie Abram
As the Rapid Response and Special Project Coordinator for the WIB, Leslie Abram is involved in a wide array of initiatives for the WIB. She heads up the Rapid Response function for Southwest Missouri, providing vital linkages for companies that are facing downsizings or closures to serve workers in their employment and training transitions. She also coordinates various marketing and public relations outreach for the WIB and Missouri Career Center.
Abram has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Master’s degree in Communication from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kan. She has worked more than a decade in the news industry.
